Nathan Pachel

Nathan Pachel is a Research Engineer at the Advanced Composites Institute, where he plays a key role in daily operations and works hands-on with resin-infused and stitched composites. He is a lead engineer in several core areas, including stitching, metrology, Resin Transfer Molding (RTM), and Vacuum Assisted RTM (VARTM). Nathan began his journey with ACI as a student worker in 2021 and transitioned to a full-time role in 2024 after earning his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering in the spring of 2021. Outside the lab, he enjoys hiking, exploring new places, and taking on projects that involve building or fixing just about anything.
